About

Kayla Aldrich (she/her) is a lesbian writer living in Richmond, Virginia. In 2020, she earned a B.A. in English from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a Marketing Copy and Grant Writing Specialist at Read to Them, a family literacy non-profit, and has served as an editor at Feels Blind Literary since 2022. The Soft Animal is her first novel with many, many more on the way.

When she isn't writing, Kayla's favorite hobbies include baking for her loved ones, consuming LGBTQIA+ books and media, and taking long walks to sad jams. She is also a part-time Snoopy enthusiast, and eagerly awaits BTS's comeback tour.
